Abstract

This study aims to improve knowledge and skills about the Freshwater Crayfish enlargement business at Traditional Farm, as well as knowing the things that affect the success of the Freshwater Crayfish enlargement business applied at Traditional Farm. This activity was held in November 2022 at B laster farm, Sukajaya District, Pesawaran Regency, Lampung Province. Traditional Farm has considerable potential in the field of crayfish enlargement business which aims to meet the needs and desires of consumers. The method used in the implementation of internship practice is the method (participatory observation), where with this method the author makes observations on the enlargement of Freshwater Crayfish (Cherax quadricarinatus) directly down to the field.The results showed that: (1) In supporting the success of the freshwater lobster enlargement business, the first thing that must be prepared is the container and container management before it is ready to be sown seedlings, including water deposition, water change and water PH adjustment; (2) Feeding the Crayfish is an important thing to note, with a dose not exceeding and less than 3% of the body weight of the Crayfish, because excess feed will form ammonia and lack of feed will make the Freshwater Lottery become cannibals; and (3) Pool maintenance can be done by checking the water temperature, checking the pH of the water and the color of the water, if the lobster's habits suddenly change and appetite decreases, the first thing to do is to change the pool water by 30%.
